Bucket Browser Privacy Policy

Last updated September 25, 2026.

This policy describes Bucket Browser and this website.

Information handled by Bucket Browser

The information involved depends on the features you use. Browser content and website storage are also handled by the device's web-view components and the websites you visit. A website access request is not the same as a complete browsing-history report; this policy does not promise that browsing-related information always stays on the device.

How information is used

Information supports sign-in, family and device management, applying website settings, sending and answering access requests, synchronizing settings, notifications, subscription access, customer support, and investigating errors or misuse.

Children’s privacy and parent-managed use

Bucket Browser is designed for family learning, including use by children with parent-managed profiles. It is not accurate to say that the app is not intended for children under 13 or that it never handles children's information.

A parent can create a managed child profile and pair a device. The service then handles information associated with that profile, such as its name, family membership, device details, assigned websites, website rules, and access requests. Parents and family members with the relevant management permissions can use family-management features to view or manage this information.

Parents should use a nickname where practical and avoid adding unnecessary identifying or sensitive information to profile names, device names, or support messages. Websites opened inside the app may collect information under their own policies.

To ask about information associated with your child, request access or correction, request deletion, or ask us to stop further collection or use, contact info@bucketbrowser.app or use our support form. Do not send passwords or pairing codes. We may need to verify your authority over the family account before handling a request.

Service providers and other websites

Bucket Browser uses Cloudflare for backend services, including account and family data and synchronization. This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Sentry is configured in the app for diagnostics. Apple, Google, and Microsoft process information when their sign-in, store, or platform services are used.

Website contact and support forms use Formspree. Website fonts are requested from Google Fonts. The deployed website also loads Cloudflare's analytics beacon. These services can receive technical request information and, for submitted forms, the information you enter.

Information needed for family-management features is made available through those features to authorized family users. Service providers process information needed to deliver their respective services. Third-party websites and optional plugins have their own data practices; review their policies and permissions before use.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Some information is stored on your device; account and family features also store information in backend services. Removing an app from a device should not be treated as a request to delete backend account or family records.

You can request access, correction, or deletion through the contact details below. For account deletion, see Delete your Bucket Browser account for the request steps and retained-information details.

Your choices

You can choose which optional features to use, manage available family and website settings, and control platform permissions through your device settings. Settings and deletion options differ by platform and feature. Contact us if you need help understanding or removing information associated with an account or child profile.
